Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to be present in order to win?
No, you do not need to be present to win a prize in the Sportsmen’s Raffle.
Can I win more than once on the same ticket?
Yes, after a winning ticket is drawn and properly recorded, it is placed back in the drum and you may win again on the same ticket.
How will I know if I won?
You will receive notice/certificate via U.S. Mail shortly after the raffle is over. The Shrine office usually sends the notice/certificate out within 3 business days after the raffle is over.
Zenobia Shriners will also post all winners on our website, usually within 72 hours after the raffle is over.
How do I claim my prize?
When you have won a prize, you will be notified by Zenobia Shriners and will be issued a gift card from Bass Pro Shops for the value of that prize.
If you won a cash prize, you will simply receive a check in the mail. If you win a $500 cash prize and you are in attendance, you will receive the prize in person, in cash, on the spot as long as we can verify your information.
Must I take the prize I won or are there other options?
As you are awarded a gift card to Bass Pro Shops, you may use it for the prize won or it can be used for any other goods or services they sell or offer.
Are there any costs to me when I win?
Zenobia Shriners pays for the gun, processing of paperwork, and sales tax. If the firearm must be delivered to you, the winner will incur certain delivery costs.
How are out-of-state winners handled?
Out-of-state winners are awarded a gift card to Bass Pro Shops, you may use it for the prize won or it can be used for any other goods or services they sell or offer at any location. A winner may also request that the firearm be shipped to a FFL dealer (as long as the state allows sales of that firearm), though there is an additional charge to the customer of $74.99, and there may be an additional charge from the receiving dealer as well, all of which will be the responsibility of the winner. Winners will have to follow all federal and local rules to pick up the firearm in their city, so they will have to make sure that the firearm is legal for sale in that state before we send.
